The Reverend Curtis Ehrgott has been appointed as Pastor of St. Luke’s United Methodist
Church in St. Michaels, MD, and Royal Oak Community UMC, Royal Oak, MD. Rev. Ehrgott entered the ministry in 2001. During his ministry, he has served congregations in Bethesda, MD, Hagerstown, MD, and Bel Air, MD. Rev. Ehrgott graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wesley Seminary in Washington, DC. Before entering seminary he received a B.S. in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Insitute (Troy, NY).
Rev. Ehrgott engages his head, heart, and hands in developing a compelling vision and mission for the churches he serves. Hallmarks of his ministries involve youth and young adults, music and the arts, and hands-on mission work like Habitat for Humanity.
Rev. Ehrgott married his wife Susan in 1987. They have two children and two grandchildren. His hobbies include reading, history, writing, cooking, and chess. His values include advocacy/allyship for people who are not traditionally advantaged, continuous learning,
investing in the future, failing forward, and a growth mindset.
Rev. Ehrgott loves everyone and has a heart for the least and the lost.
